[Q1] Highlights aired from the Against All Odds pay-per-view... The opening montage aired... Mike Tenay and Don West introduced the show and hyped the tag title match and the gauntlet match...

1. Team 3D defeated Kurt Angle and Sting in 10:55. Tenay said hats off to TNA management for booking this match given what took place at the pay-per-view. Sting and Angle spoke in their corner, and Angle appeared to reluctantly accept what Sting was telling him (likely to let him wrestle this week).

Angle started the match. Two minutes later, Sting reached in for a tag, but Angle ignored him. Team 3D hit the Whassup move a short time later. Angle rolled to ringside. Sting went out to talk to him. It got heated with Angle shoving Sting and then Sting shoving him back. The other Main Event Mafia members came out to pull them apart as the show cut to commercial. [C]

After the break, Sting was in the ring and wouldn't tag Angle into the match. The other Mafia members were still at ringside. At 9:30, Sting stumbled wearily toward his corner for a tag, but Angle dropped off the apron to avoid it.

[Q2] Later, Angle avoided another tag again, so Sting slapped his back and slingshotted him into the ring. Kurt stood up and shoved Sting, who shoved Angle back. Angle's momentum backed him into Devon's roll up pin for the win. After the match, Angle and Sting traded punches until the other Mafia members separated them. Tenay said viewers would hear from Angle after the break...

After the break, Angle said Sting is a fraud. He complained that he should have won the title at the pay-per-view. He said Sting would lie down on his back and let him pin him later in the show and then stand up and shake his hand. Angle tried to wrap up the segment, but he was interrupted.

Jeff Jarrett's entrance music played and he walked to the ring. "Kurt, as the founder of TNA, do you really think I'm going to let that go on?" Jarrett asked. He said Sting is the TNA Champion because he won on Sunday night and Angle lost. "Look who came back from the dead," Angle said. "What do I have to do, Jeff, kill you literally?"

Angle said he shattered Jeff's ankle the last time he saw him and left him in a pool of blood. Angle said they're dealing in Mafia business that didn't concern him. Jarrett said they might take the company down in a blaze of glory if they had another match. "As the found of TNA, Sting is the TNA Heavyweight Champion," Jarrett said. Sting interrupted and said that with all due respect to Jarrett, he was taking up Angle on his offer later in the show... [C]

[Q3] The announcers recapped the first 30 minutes of the show, which is probably helpful for viewers who just finished watching "The Office." The announcers hyped the Sting vs. Angle "showdown" for later in the show...

Backstage, Jeremy Borash interviewed Booker T and Sharmell outside their locker room. He asked whether the Sting and Angle bickering would the beginning of the end of the Mafia. Booker predicted that Sting would comply with Angle's request. "Sting has no choice," Booker said. Borash shifted the focus to A.J. Styles stealing Booker's TNA Legends Title. Booker said he's going to prosecute Styles to the fullest extent of the law.

Booker and Sharmell ended the interview by walking inside their dressing room and shutting the door. Sharmell screamed. Borash opened the door to find Styles beating up Booker. Styles dominated the brawl and left Booker lying. He stood over him and said, "I am legend"... [C]

Highlights aired during the break of Scott Steiner telling Lauren that he's not afraid of Samoa Joe just because he cut his hair and started wearing makeup. He said Joe is fat, out of shape, and a "half breed Samoan"...

2. Scott Steiner defeated Petey Williams in a No DQ headdress on a pole match in 6:05. Petey gets to wear the headdress if he can take it off the pole. No shit. Steiner controlled the bulk of the match. He placed Petey on the top rope and held up his hand near the headdress to mock him, then hit the Frankensteiner off the top. Cool move. Petey made a brief comeback and went for his finisher, but Steiner blocked and slammed Petey to the mat.

[Q4] Steiner brought his lead pipe in the ring, but Petey ended up using it. Petey climbed the ropes and reached up for the headdress and waited a couple seconds for Steiner to stop him. Ugh. Steiner hit a suplex off the top and then climbed the ropes and retrieved the headdress. The announcers said their feud is over.

Samoa Joe's music played. He appeared on the big screen and said Steiner wouldn't know when he's coming, but when he does, "Joe is gonna kill you"...

Backstage, Broash interviewed Mick Foley, who said he knows Sting well enough to know he won't lie down. Foley said there was no controversy at the pay-per-view. He said Sting won the match and that was it. Foley also plugged his new Hardcore Memories segment. Foley asked Borash if he saw "The Wrestler." Borash said he had. "Kind of makes you think, doesn't it," Foley said. "Kind of makes you think." He patted a confused Borash on the arm and walked away... [C]

3. Sojourner Bolt won a 9-Knockout gauntlet match in 10:30. Taylor Wilde and Angelina Love started the match. Velvet Sky was next in the match. Cute Kip was also at ringside. The Beautiful People roughed up Wilde, but she held on until Sojourner Bolt came out. Bolt attacked the Beautiful People. Roxxi came in next and had Sky eliminated, but Kip caught her and saved her. Newcomer Madison Rayne came out next.

[Q5] With all entrants still in the ring, Raisha Saeed came out as the seventh entrant. Love was tossed over the top, but Kip also caught and saved her. Rhaka Khan came out to zero reaction from the live crowd. Tenay figured out that the final competitor was ODB. She ran out and roughed up all the heels.

ODB eliminated Khan and Saeed roughly eight minutes into the match. She also tossed Love over the top, but Kip caught her again. Sigh. Wilde and Love fought near the ropes and eliminated one another. Sky and Roxxi were eliminated moments later. ODB and Rayne were fighting on the apron when Bolt knocked ODB to the floor.

The match came down to Bolt and Rayne. West reminded viewers that the match would not be decided by pinfall. A short time later, Bolt pinned Rayne to win the gauntlet match. Saeed and Khan stood on the stage as Bolt celebrated in the ring...

A shot aired of Angle sitting in his locker room while staring at a framed picture of Sting. Angle flipped out and smashed the photo. Both announcers felt the need to explain what he was doing just in case there were any blind viewers listening at home... [C]

[Q6] 4. Lethal Consequences defeated The Motor City Machine Guns in 4:30. The announcers recapped footage of Beer Money attacking Creed and injuring his shoulder last week. Tenay announced the return of Ultimate X for the Destination X pay-per-view. West said it's his favorite match and raved about how the wrestlers come up with new ways to get the hanging X. Good rapid fire action down the stretch. Lethal pinned Shelley clean.

After the match, Shelley placed his X Division belt on the mat and stuck out their hands. Lethal Consequences accepted the handshake. The Guns turned around only to turn back around and kick them in the balls. Tenay was disgusted...

Backstage, Borash said he wanted to text information regarding a new international tag team that is coming to TNA. Suddenly, Jarrett walked down the stairs next to Borash. Jarrett confirmed that he was in the rafters visiting Sting, but he wouldn't say whether Sting is going to lie down for Angle...

ODB hosted the her talk show segment with Brutus Magnus. She mispronounced his name and slapped his ass. He corrected her and eventually referred to her as a disgusting pig. She asked if they have IHOP where he comes from. He asked what IHOP is. "I hop deez nuts," she responded. "He wants me"...

Lauren interviewed Kevin Nash backstage regarding the Mafia. He mentioned all the big mafia movies and said they were set in worlds he wants to live in. "Kurt's the boss," he said. "He made that plain and clear from day one." He said Sting has what's coming to him. Nash said he had to go see Johnny Sack (Sopranos) "about that thing." Lauren stood up and asked who that is as Nash walked away... [C]

[Q7] Tenay said TNA received permission to sit in on Abyss's therapy session. A shot aired of Abyss sitting on a couch and the back of the therapist's head. He had a ponytail and Abyss referred to him as "Dr. Stevie." Abyss spoke about how cute President Obama's children are, how he's addicted to violence, and how he can't believe the Oceanic Six are going back to the island on Lost. Dr. Stevie spoke, but was never turned around...

5. Beer Money defeated Rhino and Abyss to retain the TNA Tag Titles in 7:21. Illegal man Storm knocked Rhino of the ropes early and attacked him on the floor while the ref was distracted. [C] Late in the match, Abyss got ahold of Storm's beer bottle, but Matt Morgan hit Abyss with a chair while the ref was distracted to set up the pin. After the match, Beer Money held off Rhino while Morgan hit Abyss with another chairshot...

A split screen shot showed Kurt Angle walking backstage while Sting walked down stairs...

[Q8] [C] Tenay introduced Mick Foley's "Hardcore 101." Foley sat backstage and discussed a barbwire match he had against Terry Funk. He told a gross story about the barbwire catching the tips of his fingers. He talked about packing the meat of his finger tips in and wrapping his fingers with tape. He said he and Funk "hugged like men" on the bus later that night...

Angle and Sting made their entrances. Once both were in the ring, Angle said he had to make an example out of Sting because he broke the code at the pay-per-view. He told him to lie on his back and get it over with. Sting asked if that's really what Angle wanted. Angle said Sting gave him no other choice.

Sting said he could go ahead and lay down. "I'll go ahead and lay down for the good of the family," he said. Sting teased lying down, but he stopped and asked what happened to Kurt's integrity. "You are an Olympic gold medalist," Sting said. He asked him (while saying "Kurt" at the end of every sentence) that the Angle who won the Olympic gold wouldn't have done this.

Sting said he'd just go ahead and lie down. He got down on his knees, but was too winded to lie down completely on his back. Kidding. He stopped and said the loss at the pay-per-view pales in comparison to losing his wife, his family, his respect, and his honor. Sting said no one in TNA respects him no matter what they tell him.

Sting said the other members of the Mafia know what Angle is all about. He said they know he'll cut the legs out from under them if he has to because the group has always been about him. "There's nothing left, Kurt, you're at your end," Sting said. "What could have been is now nothing." Sting said there was nothing left to do by lie down for Angle.

Sting lied down on his back and told Angle to go ahead and steal his first world title. The fans chanted, "You suck," at Angle. Kurt got down on his knees and hesitated while Earl Hebner knelt down with his hand in the air ready to make the count. Angle stood up and told Sting to get up. He said he was going to take Sting's title and his ass with it.

Sting and Angle traded punches. The other Mafia members ran out and separated them again. "You want a war, you got a war, Sting," Angle said. Angle challenged Sting to face him next week. Angle said the Mafia would clear out the entire arena for their match next week. They brawled again as Tenay said they would clear out the locker room and the stands next week for the Angle vs. Sting match...
