- TNA's recent signing of Hulk Hogan was downplayed backstage at last night's WWE Smackdown taping. There were discussions of how he could help TNA and whom he could work with since he has a history of not putting over many people.

- WWE released a press release this afternoon announcing they extended a renewal notice for THQ to December 31, 2009. THQ will have to decide if they want to renew and work on WWE video games for the next five years, or allow another video game company to publish WWE titles.
