Shantelle Taylor, a former developmental WWE wrestler, is scheduled to make her official TNA debut at tonight's Impact taping, which will air on Thursday night on Spike TV.

Taylor got a dark match tryout before the 4/16 Impact taping. She wrestled Raisha Saeed, but lost.

Taylor is from Canada and considered to be a strong in-ring performer. Last year, she worked a few house show matches with Jamie Noble as a masked performer, although it was never identified that she was a female. She worked a match with Jillian Hall as herself before a SmackDown taping last June. She got the duke over Hall.

Taylor was close to being called up to the Raw roster on at least one occasion, but never broke through. Taylor was released from her WWE contract last August. The reason given was that the company had no plans for her at the moment, hence her release.

In a weird deal, Taylor appeared in an issue of WWE Magazine early this year as a "Sexy Super Fan." The former WWE developmental worker submitted photos of herself posing as a WWE fan with merchandise all around her. The magazine did a Q & A with her, and one of her modeling photos was used in the one-page piece.
