Welcome to Edition 1 of Mikey San's thoughts: (I'll come up with a name later)
Each edition I am gonna highlight a wrestling star and give my thoughts.
Edition 1: Matt Hardy (Jeff a bit as well)
So Jeff is leaving... Good for him, I hope he finds himself and comes back with a fresh character. How many times can you do the SAME daredevil things, he's bored, and his characters bored and stale. What the WWE should have done was let him have a bit more creative control over his character, because we all know how creative the man gets. A lot of people are saying he wants time off so he can go back to being a pothead... Until we hear from him, we'll never know. But it would be a HUGE let down if that was the case. Some say he got busted for the third time, and WWE is trying to save face with him, and make it seem like they are begging him to come back but he doesn't want to. Well, I have heard enough, whatever the reason is... Good luck!
On a side note his character is stale, and that's not his fault... It's not like he could play an effective heel. He can only do a face character... I could NEVER see him as a heel... Thats like Rey Rey turning.
Speaking of fresh characters, when Matt turned on Jeff at the RR09, I was PRAYING that he wasn't gonna go back to the Mattituve v1.0 or whatever it was... I have been telling everyone that Matt needs a main event push ... and is WAY overdue. Then I thought, well maybe this is just to feud with Jeff to put his little brother over more... Then I saw him at Wrestlemania... I cheered... I literally stood up and cheered ... This was a NEW Matt Hardy!! And about freaking time! I said to everyone around me... In the draft, he's gonna get drafted to RAW and we could see a John Cena vs Matt Hardy feud... Matt looks good, looks as if he could be a Heavyweight contendor. I hope they use this guy the right way this time.
I have told people for years, the WWE is missing out on my talents to create characters, and awesome story lines. I am 28 and have been watching wrestling since WM1!
