Major Changes Coming In TNA, Impact Rating Average, More

Reported By Patrick Boucher on Thursday, April 3 2008

- Jeff Jarrett is wanting more seriousness to the product and more ring time in TNA. Apparently Dutch Mantel wants what Jarrett's wants and we may be seeing some major changes soon.

- In March, TNA iMPACT averaged a 1.09 cable rating, which included the 3/27 live edition.

- TNA will be taping iMPACT on 4/15 and 4/16, which is Tuesday and Wednesday, instead of the usual Monday and Tuesday taping schedule, since the crew has to come from Boston to Orlando after the Lockdown pay-per-view.

- In his most recent Between the Ropes interview, Kurt Angle said TNA is addressing the issue of too many gimmick matches and constant interference. Angle also said TNA is looking at moving toward an MMA atmosphere starting at Lockdown and hinted at Bobby Lashley coming to the company.

- In an interview with NPR, Angle claimed he made $3 million in his best year in pro wrestling and now makes about seven figures. Speaking of money, TNA is making a good chunk of change by charging fans $20 for Polaroids with Angle after house shows.
