EXCLUSIVE: A Look At Chris Masters' Return; MVP vs Masters, More

Reported By Patrick W. Boucher on Jul 28, 2009 - 2:27:56 PM

Chris Masters’ made his return to WWE last night on Monday Night RAW. I applaud the WWE for keeping it a secret and surprising the fans. Is it really a blockbuster return, no. A surprise is better than nothing and I believe Masters can make a decent impact on all brands, if they decide to move him.

Having him return in the beat the clock challenge against MVP was a shocker to me. When I first heard the music hit, I couldn’t help but think, MVP is going to lose. Creative put this match together perfectly. Neither star went over the other, meaning MVP didn’t get lost in the RAW roster shuffle. They both had a stiff match, that went back and forth and did no damage to either wrestler.

MVP vs. Chris Master feud would say a lot about Masters skills. These two, if I am correct, will likely feud for a month, possibly two depending on how well their matches are. These two could be the future of the RAW brand with marquee names such as HBK and HHH aging and their injuries beginning to catch up to them.

MVP was given a fresh look and turned to a baby face when he returned to RAW. I was ecstatic when he was moved and had hopes of seeing him move in to the main event spotlight.

WWE needs to get in to the rebuilding process and work on creating new stars to headline events and sell the seats in arenas across the world. Randy Orton vs. John Cena has become stale, it was stale months ago and I can’t rave enough about the countless matches these two have been featured in.

Can Chris Masters make the most of his return to WWE? Can MVP elevate himself in to the top spot in the WWE Universe? These are all questions asked countless times via email, now is your opportunity to sound off in our online forums to voice your opinions along with reading others opinions.
