WWE champion Dave Batista's official website at www.demon-wrestling.com officially acknowledged his injury in a post from the site's webmaster on its official message board.

The post reads:

we originally thought dave had a torn muscle (he's been hurt for around 2-3 weeks) but this has now been confirmed as a torn tendon.

please note that dave will still be appearing on raw tonight, beyond that we cannot give any idea of a return date, so please dont ask.
