Matt Morgan has turned down NBC’s offer to appear on the upcoming second season of their hit American Gladiators show, which Hulk Hogan will be hosting. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that he balked at their offer, which would have given them an option on his services for up to six years.

The contract would have also given NBC priority over TNA for events, which Morgan wasn’t willing to do because of his desire to wrestle.

Morgan has been getting rave reviews within the company for his speaking skills. The feeling is that he delivers his promos in a different style than the traditional wrestling promo, similar to how Big Show has been talking lately on WWE TV.
