Pre-Show Notes:There's no denying that Unforgiven sucked last night. My buddies thought it sucked. The Wrestling Observer fans thought it sucked. Most of the people on here thought it sucked. It just sucked. I'm glad I didn't waste another $40 on that crap. Seriously though, we saw one title change that's been long over due. The tag title matches were good. The ECW title match was good. The WWE title match sucked, mainly because of the ending. We saw Carlito pretty much get buried. On a bright note, we got to see the return of the Undertaker against that slug, Mark Henry. It sucked. I won't say anymore about that mess. Now, it's time for RAW is Blogged.
Cena got a bad reception when he came out on RAW. He was sporting a new orange and black hat. Cena did a spill about how he feels great. He then sucked up to his dad & Randy Orton. It's hard to believe this bastard has been the WWE Champion for a year. I just want to cry. He thanked Jonathan Coachman and blah blah blah. I don't know about you, but Coach saved me from puking. Coach was using some big words tonight. No, I won't type them but he did make a big match. I loved the thought of Coach stripping Cena of the belt. The whole deal about Cena vs. Orton was great. Cena is actually getting pissed. Finally, something other than sucking up to people.
The first match of the night was for the Intercontinental Championship between Shelton Benjamin and defending the belt, Jeff Hardy. The match was pretty good. I like how they, despite losing the title already, focused on the fact that Khali's claw took out Jeff Hardy. They kept referring to it as a vise grip, which is not to be confused with CM Punk's Anaconda Vise that he rarely uses now. Shelton did his jump to the top rope but didn't quite get there. He had one leg on the top and one leg on the middle rope. It was good though. This could be a feud without promos. Jeff is pretty funny and hopefully Shelton has worked on his delivery. Sign me up for a 6-month feud between these two, please.
During his promo with his dad, did he say he wins & loses? When's the last time this dude lost the WWE title? Cena's dad, in case you didn't know, is a heel manager in the northeast, so it's not like he's some dude who doesn't know what he's doing.
Santino Marella was hilarious when he said Stone Cold was worst that Britney Spears. In case you're wondering, there's a video on YouTube of some chick saying "LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!" That was why Jillian was saying that. The funniest was when Santino said he used to pleasure himself with Britney. Jillian's crappy singer gimmick is played out and needs to change a little. I thought it was funny when Marella got Jillian's name wrong again.
The Irish decorated office was hilarious. Vince is part Irish as am I. We don't go around, however, eating Lucky Charms and listening to Irish music. It was even more funny when Hornswoggle popped up and yelled "HI DAD!" I loved Coach trying to catch him and not being able to. This was even more funny than last week.
I have one question. Isn't Daivari from Detroit, Michigan? I guess this was a filler. I mean, why else have a flag match? This would have been better if there was a better story involved. This just seemed like a random match that wouldn't set anything up for later.
Whenever Coach told Cena if he lost, his dad would still be in a match, I knew that he was going to lose. Cena usually loses when it really doesn't matter.
The segment between Hornswoggle & Vince was very entertaining. The actress playing the mom was pretty hot. I didn't expect Triple H to come out. His jokes were funny and I was actually entertained. Vince didn't really answer Triple H's questions, instead, he made a match. Now, at the start, I thought if Trips didn't run over Cade & Murdoch, he's not on John Cena's level! Remember, Cena ran over both of them with ease. London & Kendrick couldn't be used here or two random Superstars? I guess it's because London & Kendrick are faces. The ending was crappy. Why bury your World Tag Team Champions? Why bury a future WWE Champion? How dumb is that? I didn't really understand the ending with Triple H giving the Pedigree to London & Kendrick. I know it's a storyline, but if somebody just saved my ass, the last thing I would do is beat them up. Now, it's Triple H and Carlito in a Steel Cage match. Why not just have a Buried Alive match? Hell, they're burying him just as bad.
Beth Phoenix is pretty hot. I'd let her and Victoria tag team me. I wouldn't even put up a fight against them. They could do what they wanted. Anyways, Melina's split is pretty hot. What I hate is women who are better wrestlers than Candice have to take a back seat to her. Mickie, Jillian, Melina, and Beth are way better wrestlers than Candice. It's time to get the title off of Candice and let these women WRESTLERS do their job. I know Candice has improved, but it's time for a change. TNA is about to start their Women's Division and I'm stating today, it will be 10 times better than the WWE's Women's Division. TNA is using women from the SHIMMER promotion, which is tied into Ring of Honor. So, basically, the WWE Women's Division is screwed.
So, to decide if Cena's dad will face Orton, Cena himself has to face Santino Marella? Did I miss something here? Santino's been getting buried, besides his comedy skits, and he's the one facing Cena? What a load of crap. Before the match can get done, Orton interfered and he and Santino basically beat the living hell out of Cena. That's what I'm talkin' about! Coach came out and changed up the rules to screw Cena. I was lovin' it! This is some good stuff. They didn't have to do the DQ last night to continue the feud. They could have done something else but none the less, I was enjoying this. The ending was ok but if Cena knew he could break free, why not use his Super Man powers earlier? Decent RAW.
